Description
Session outline
The walk will begin at BEECHE with our educational instructors teaching you the signs and tracks to look out for when on a night walk. We will begin taking a look at our moth trap and how to set these up safely and return to check this after the walk. We will then head across our widlife meadow looking for bats and using our bat detectors listening for different species such as Noctules and pipistrelles. Before crossing over the golf course and across to Joyces pit which is a hot spot for glow worms last year! Whilst we are heading through we will be listening for owls and searching for signs of foxes and badgers within the area before heading back to the centre and checking the moth trap.
