Description

Session Outline

Join us for two hours of bugs! The first sessions involves  bug holding of five beautiful bugs  for £7.00! The second session is going out to our forest school area on a awesome bug hunt which is £5.50!

You can book separately for just handling which is the first hour or you can book for just the bug hunting for the second hour. You can book them both for a cheaper price of £10 for 2 hours worth of bug fun! If the bug bundle is sold out but it is still showing availability for bug handling, please book the bug handling and you can pay the extra £3 on the day to book on to the whole session. Our website has a meltdown otherwise, thank you.

Our All Ages sessions allow for younger siblings to also get involved while still keeping the older children engaged and comfortable.

Adult supervision is required. Siblings do not need paid entry unless they are also taking part, for Health & Safety purposes.

Directions and Parking

This event takes place in our Darwin classroom at High Elms Country Park and outside in our Forest School. The main car park is located on High Elms Road (near Shire Lane). You can follow the Brown Highway signs for High Elms Country Park.

If the main car park is full then exit the car park and turn left go down High Elms Road a further 200 metres and turn into the Golf Course Car Park, it is fine to park in this car park. Exit Golf Course Car Park through the barrier gate at the bottom of car park then follow path straight ahead, go past pond and you will find yourself on front lawns go straight across and you will find yourself by main car park.

Blue badge parking is available in front of the BEECHE building. To access this please access the park using the entrance off Shire Lane which is marked for deliveries and staff. At the cross roads turn left up the slope and you will see the BEECHE building at the top of the slope. Please be aware this entrance and car park is only for Blue Badge holders.

Other Information

The session will take place inside our Darwin classroom at the BEECHE Visitor Centre and outside in our Forest School. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear depending on the weather.
