Session Outlines
Join us this summer with your little ones (18months – 5 years) for our Woodland Explorers Toddler Summer events activities!
Each week we will be exploring a different theme to keep curious minds engaged. Each session will include a story and themed activities. These sessions are relaxed sessions with a forest school ethos to inspire little ones to enjoy the great outdoors!

6th AUGUST – POND DIPPING – £5.50
13th AUGUST – MAGIC – £5.50 (TODDLER GROUP)
18th AUGUST – ROOM ON THE BROOM STORYTIME – £5.00
20th AUGUST – DINOSAURS – £5.50 (TODDLER GROUP)
27th – STORYTIME SESSION – £5.50 (TODDLER GROUP)

(supporting adults do not need to buy a ticket & babies in arms are FREE)
Directions and Parking
This event takes place outside!
the Darwin Room of the BEECHE centre in High Elms Country Park. To get to us from main car park follow the path all the way up the slope to the cafe, but rather than turn left for the Green Roof Café turn right and go around the back of the building where you will see the board walk. The Darwin room is the second classroom on the right.
To make the session really eco-friendly, try getting here by public transport. You can get the 358 bus from Crystal Palace to Orpington via Bromley. Alight in Farnborough, Church Road/ High Street bus stop. High Elms Country Park is a pleasant 0.7 mile walk past the church and through a field, crossing Shire Lane to arrive at the main car park. Call or email us if you need more guidance on arriving by public transport.
If driving, the main car park is located on High Elms Road (off Shire Lane). You can follow the Brown Highway signs for High Elms Country Park. If the main car park is full you can continue down High Elms Road and park in the golf course car park, arriving back in High Elms Country park by walking though the swing gate, past the pond and along the bottom of the sloping field back to the main car park area.
Blue badge parking is available in front of the BEECHE building. To access this please access the park using the entrance off Shire Lane which is marked for deliveries and staff. At the cross roads turn left up the slope and you will see the BEECHE building at the top of the slope. Please be aware this entrance and car park is only for Blue Badge holders.
