A somewhat dense stand of younger trees and Hazel coppice that grew close following the storms of ’87. This often narrow corridor of woodland is a sometimes overlooked part of the High Elms Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Mark’s the Northern boundary of the estate. It is also designated as Local Site Important to Nature Conservation (LNR) partly due to its location and ability to act as a wildlife corridor.
