Scadbury Park is a Local Nature Reserve offering over 300 acres of countryside to explore and forms part of a wildlife corridor linking to open countryside from Jubilee Country Park through Petts Wood and Scadbury along the London LOOP.
First references to the Manor of Scadbury date back to the mid 1200’s; the Tudor manor house was the home of the Walsinghams from 1424-1655.
The park has an active Friends group that aims to help promote conservation and protection of the park. They undertake practical tasks and monitor plants and wildlife and promote is use for informal recreation and enjoyment.
