DESCRIPTION:Come hunt for eggs and raise money for charity on Good Friday in Croydon Road Recreation Ground (Beckenham Rec)\, next to the Bowie Bandstand. \nRoam all over the park on a treasure hunt and and every child leaves with a chocolate treat. Enjoy the food and drink\, face painting and fairground rides too. \nPrices:\n\n£4\, including bag of Cadbury mini-eggs. Non-chocolate treats available on request. Cash or card accepted.\n\nEaster Fair\nFood and craft stalls from local businesses. \n\nIce Cream Van\nBurgers\nCoffee\nHook-a-duck\nBallons\nFace Painting\nKids Funfair\n\n(Subject to change) \n\nTransport\nThe nearest train stations are Clock House (11 minutes walk)\, Beckenham Junction (15 minutes walk) and bus services to Beckenham include the 54\, 194\, 227\, 353\, 354\, 358\, 367 \nThere is covered bike parking in the car park of the Beckenham Beacon \nThere is pay and display parking in the Village Way multi-storey. Local streets have resident permit parking at different times during the day. \nAccessibility\nAccessible entrance: the flat entrance recommended for wheelchairs is Croydon Road but the whole park has hard paths. The event starts and finishes on grass but we will do our best to accommodate people with mobility issues. DESCRIPTION:Beckenham Fireworks in the Park\nSaturday 4th November 2023\nCroydon Road Recreation Ground (Beckenham Rec)\n319 Croydon Rd\, Beckenham \nAn advanced ticket purchased online will be required for entrance in 2023. Capacity in the park is limited so get your tickets now.  Tickets will not be available on the gate. \nBeckenham Fireworks in the Park is a family-friendly fireworks display that has been running since 1946. \nThere is a quieter display at 6pm with fireworks for smaller children – with some small bangs – and the main firework display at 7.45pm.  Both displays are set to music. \n5pm Gates open in Croydon Road and Village Way. Stalls and funfair open.\n6pm Quieter display for younger children\, with less noise.\n7:15pm Gates close\n7.45pm Main Display\n9pm Park Closes \nThey have an amazing range of food and drink. \n\n\n\nPolish Sausage Hot Dogs\nVegetarian & Vegan Burgers\nKati Rolls\, Biriyani Fries\n\n\nChicken Naan Wraps\nBurgers & Hotdogs\nBrownies & Cookies\n\n\nBeef/Pork Dip Sandwiches\nDutch Mini Pancakes\nChicken Box & Wraps\n\n\nJerk Chicken & Salmon\nIce cream & Slushies\nCoffee & Hot Donuts\n\n\nMalaysian Blue Rice Bowls\nJerk wraps\, Wings & Ribs\nSteak Sandwiches\n\n\nJerk Chicken & Curry Goat\nBailey’s Hot Chocolate & Mulled Cider\nChicken & Halloumi\n\n\nWood Fired Pizza\n\n\n\n\n\nThey’ll be open from 5pm and the rides and stalls will be running all evening until the end of the fireworks. \nSome of the concessions and fairground rides are cash only\, there is no ATM in the park. \ncontact fireworks@thefifth.org.uk with all your questions & feedback.

DESCRIPTION:FESTIVAL OVERVIEW \nAfter the magic of Soul Town Festival 2022\, they have been pulling out all the stops to make sure Soul Town 2023 is a weekend to remember. \nThey will be bringing together the biggest Soul\, Motown\, Disco\, Funk & House acts from across the globe with over 65 artists performing smash hits across two days on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September 2023. \nIts all going to be going down on a sun-kissed and much improved site to bring that summer soul to the South East. Soul Town Festival plays out on a beautiful site in Beckenham\, Kent which is having a whole host of upgrades to really bring the experience to life with more themed spaces\, more bars\, more staff\, more toilets and improved disabled access and viewing points. \n2023 will see the launch of the Stage 2 VIP experience. \nPlus their newly improved food village will be boasting over 40 street food stalls serving a whole host of tasty treats\, cultured food and providing drinks from entry level to premium gins. There will be music across two spectacular main stages with immersive light\, sound and visual shows\, as well as special VIP areas. \nVIP tickets include separate queuing for fast track entry\, a drink and food voucher (beer\, wine\, spirit and mixer)\, Soul Town merchandise\, private bar\, luxury toilets\, makeup bar\, prime stage viewing area at both stages and more.
