Free to attend with information and game stalls inc food & drink sales\, Ballet in the park class\, Parkbathe mindfulness walk\, live music. \nWe will be hosting a Pride Picnic in the Park\, a family\, child friendly fun event as a celebration of people coming together in friendship to accept equality and celebrate LGBTQ+ members of our community that will be free to attend. \nWe hope to encourage local LGBTQ+ and Allies families and friends to attend a safe and welcoming event to celebrate both Pride and The Penge Festival in a supportive community Park event. \nWe will have a few stalls to entertain the children including a bouncy castle and a ball; play area refreshment stalls where we will provide some homemade cakes\, warm drinks and an icecream van and Pizza van will be on site \nWe will have face painting and other activities for the children and a Competition called Parkscape – an outdoor treasurer hunt. We will also have a craft stall where people can make their own rainbow twirling ribbons. \n  \nWe look forward to this event being a fantastic way to meet other families\, other children and play. in the park\, enjoy a picnic in beautiful surroundings.

Local streets have resident permit parking at different times during the day. \nAccessibility\nAccessible entrance: the flat entrance recommended for wheelchairs is Croydon Road but the whole park has hard paths. The event starts and finishes on grass but we will do our best to accommodate people with mobility issues. DESCRIPTION:Chislehurst Rotary Fireworks – Saturday 4th November 2023 \nThe season of crackling log fires\, mulberry wine\, roasting chestnuts and Fireworks is approaching fast and\, as always\, Chislehurst Rotary Club is celebrating with a Bang on Saturday the 4th November. \nAs well as the spectacular Fireworks from the award-winning FIREWORK CRAZY company\, international food stalls and the thrilling under 12’s Fun Fair\, their music will be provided by top DJ Tony Boing and will be going out live on local digital radio. \nSo\, get down there for Saturday the 4th of November…gates open at 5.30pm… Fireworks at 7 pm \nBE THERE FOR THE COUNT-DOWN and have a fantastic time – remember\, members of Chislehurst Rotary Club are all volunteers and every penny raised goes to charity. \nWhen: Saturday 4th November 2023 at 7.00 pm (gates open at 5.30 pm for Fun Fair for Under 12s and Food Stalls). Please note that as large numbers are expected\, ALL ticket holders should plan to arrive well in advance of the display commencing\, and at the latest\, by 6.45 pm. \nWhere: Chislehurst Recreation Ground. Capacity in the park is limited so get your tickets now.  Tickets will not be available on the gate. \nBeckenham Fireworks in the Park is a family-friendly fireworks display that has been running since 1946. \nThere is a quieter display at 6pm with fireworks for smaller children – with some small bangs – and the main firework display at 7.45pm.  Both displays are set to music. \n5pm Gates open in Croydon Road and Village Way.
